Clearwater Beach, Florida

We spent a couple of days on Clearwater Beach. It was beautiful and warm! : ) Here you see pictures of the cabanas, the boardwalk, and one of the many birds that wander around everywhere. You can see why we were so excited to fly back to Omaha Sunday night where it was -5 degrees.

Kennedy Space Center, Florida

Here are a few pictures from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida. I went to Florida with LaVerna to see Marlene for a few days. Here you see one of the alligators we saw on our tour, the launch pad, the assembly building, the new astronauts, : ) and the entrance area with the flag. It was a warm and sunny day. We had lots of fun!!

Election Day 2008

Election day was bittersweet. We had a fun election day party but our candidate didn't win. : ( At least we got pictures with McCain & Palin and we got to spend the evening with good friends!

Goodbye Shari

Here are a few pictures at the airport as we are seeing Shari off on her big trip. Although we are sad to see her go we know she will have a memorable time. She will be gone for three months and all she packed was her backpack! Impressive! : )

Inside the Sarah Palin Rally!

There were thousands of people at the rally tonight. The first picture here was just a shot of one side of the overflow room! Sarah came and spoke to the overflow room first. I got a couple good shots of her speaking to us. There were a few Obama supporters that were in front of us and started to hold up Obama signs. Jack took one down and the picture here is the guys sign Jack grabbed from him held upside down. : )

Standing in line to see Palin in Omaha!

Andrew & I and Jack Henry decided to support the McCain campaign and see Sarah Palin as she made her appearance at the Omaha Civic auditorium. We weren't the only ones! We stood in line for two hours only be put in the overflow room with a screen. She did however come and speak to our room first! These are a few pictures I took while waiting in line for several hours. Even the Obama supporters were there -- all twelve of them! : )

His & Hers

Andrew got his yellow hummer last week. We are outfitting it so that it matches mine exactly with exception of the color. It is almost there -- just a few more chrome pieces, new rims, and a tire cover. Lookin good!
