Anyone ready for some porch sittin?
I saw this structure on the way to Antioch this year. Just had to get a picture of it. It is located in the tiny town of Halsey, NE. Doesn't it just look like it needs some people sittin on the porch noddin as you go by? : ) Youth

Who says you can't teach a dog new tricks! I couldn't pass up taking these pictures. We were actually stopped at a truck stop on the way home from eastern Iowa, and as I was getting ready to get in my vehicle, I looked up and saw this. : )

Donkey Basketball!
We attended a Donkey basketball game for the first time Friday night near Marysville, KS. Anneta Griffee had helped organize this event, so we had to see what it was all about! It was hilarious! A player had to be mounted on the donkey to score a point. Harder than you think! Some players got creative -- dangling carrots and such. The donkeys seen here are named: Beatle Bomb, Elvis, Rigor Mortis, Thunder Ball, Snuffy, Kilroy, Honey Pot, and my personal favorite -- Superstupid. : ) The donkeys certainly had a mind of their own! Fun stuff.
